Brief:
Duncan Wood Allum engaged a coach to focus on establishing his own Sport Leisure Culture consultancy, as well as taking advantage of a year long, global research and study tour to ensure his business hits the ground running when he returns.

Action:
The coach initially encouraged Duncan Wood Allum to focus on the future of running his own consultancy, i.e. which clients he would work with, the size of the company, turnover, profit, etc. This helped to identify what needed to be put in place, and what would be covered during the research tour. Duncan’s action plan with time line was agreed and commenced. Duncan also used the sessions to coordinate his exit strategy from his current employer. Operating in same market as his new consultancy, preservation of his reputation was paramount.

Result:
Duncan Wood Allum has resigned from his current employer, incorporated his new company Sport Leisure Culture consultancy, is just about to embark on a worldwide study tour and has prospective clients eagerly awaiting his return.
