Charlie Lawson, National Director, Business Network International

Brief:
Charlie Lawson held a sub-regional role in an international business, with the idea of becoming National Director of UK operations.

Action:
Coaching first examined the strength of Charlie Lawson’s ambitions, as he appeared uncommitted to his goal. Once this commitment had been explored and established, Charlie used the coach to focus on identifying and developing the skills and experience he would have to demonstrate in order to move up the organisation. Coaching energise Charlie and helped him work through ideas in a neutral and encouraging environment, using instant and experiential feedback to hone his expertise.

Result:
Within a year of starting coaching, Charlie Lawson was appointed Assistant National Director. A year later he was appointed National Director. He has since engaged The Number Seven to help him map out the future growth of BNI.
